The driver of a pickup truck was killed when his car flipped after being hit by a sedan running a stop sign in the Northside of Jacksonville on Tuesday morning.

At around 8:17 AM on Tuesday, a sedan was traveling west on Imeson Park Boulevard on the Northside. At the same time, a 53-year old man driving a pickup truck was traveling south on Busch Drive.
The sedan ran the stop sign at the intersection and hit the pickup, causing it to flip and roll over, killing the driver. According to FHP, he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The 24-year old man from Palm Coast driving the sedan only sustained minor injuries.

It's not enough to slow down and keep moving. In kindergarten we learn to stop and look both ways twice. It's much better to avoid an accident than to risk one because you're in a hurry. Please get rid of distractions so you: 1) notice the stop sign itself; 2) notice the other drivers around you and their behavior.
